NVR with clever design & smart image analysis Commercial premises, shop or at home: the recorder is easy to commission, can be positioned flexibly & cameras can be powered directly via PoE. The network video recorder (NVR) can be positioned as required: in a server cabinet or simply next to the monitor from which it is operated. Also practical: the NVR powers up to 8 IP PoE cameras via network cable (Power over Ethernet, PoE) – which often saves time and money at hard-to-reach installation locations. Ideal for building a compact, professional surveillance system. Simply install a 3.5‑inch hard drive in the NVR (see separate accessories), and video images can then be stored and displayed simultaneously in Ultra HD resolution. Efficient commissioning & video surveillance Access to all functions, both on-site and remotely, is via an established user interface. Clever modes help with quick and efficient scene searching. The strong data compression (H.265 Plus up to 4 times more efficient than H.264) ensures efficient storage utilisation. Thus, depending on needs and configuration, recording can be carried out for weeks or months – for example by manual triggering or intelligent motion detection (person/vehicle). Commissioning is kept simple – just connect the NVR to a monitor or access the user interface via PC and browser – after a short time the first live feed from the cameras is visible. Custom settings are also quickly made. Mobile app access Via the ABUS Link Station app, users receive a push notification in the event of, for example, a motion alarm. The Pro version of the app offers unlimited mobile access. With the free Lite version: up to 60 minutes/month of data streaming (live view/playback).
