ABUS additional door lock 7025

The robust additional door lock ABUS 7025 with locks on the outside and inside is particularly suitable for protecting the lock side of doors with glazed panels.

ABUS 7025 - Use & application:

The ABUS 7025 is mounted on the lock side of the door and thus provides high protection against forced entry attempts. Because of the design with locks on both sides, the additional lock can be opened and closed from the outside and the inside. This makes it especially suitable for doors with glazed panels. If the glass is broken, the ABUS 7025, unlike additional door locks with a thumbturn, cannot simply be opened from the outside.

The additional door lock is supplied as standard with an ABUS EC550 profile cylinder. Since 2019 ABUS has also offered the 7025 with the EC660 profile cylinder. This can optionally be ordered keyed alike (one key for several locks) and combined with other EC550/EC660 products. Information on ordering keyed-alike items can be found under Keying.

The variant available here features a metal cover plate manufactured using a die-casting process. The hinge side of the door should additionally be secured with door lift-off protection devices.

ABUS 7025 - Dimensions & installation:

The additional lock ABUS 7025 can be fitted to most single-leaf, inward-opening doors. Installation can be carried out relatively easily by yourself using the enclosed installation instructions. If you do not feel confident performing the installation, commission a tradesperson to do it.

The additional lock ABUS 7025 is supplied as standard with a cylinder from the EC550 series (since 2019 also the EC660 series) from ABUS and can therefore be ordered keyed alike with a wide range of products. For keyed-alike products you only need one key for several locks. Please note the following when ordering keyed-alike cylinders:

How do I order keyed-alike cylinders?

Select the ABUS 7025 in a keyed-alike variant and add it to the shopping cart. All keyed-alike cylinders (e.g. EC550 double, EC550 half and EC550 thumbturn cylinders) and products of the EC550 series (e.g. security bar ABUS PR 2600) as well as the corresponding multiple-key sets will be coordinated within one order. If you require two different keyed-alike systems, please place two separate and postage-free orders. Please note: Keyed-alike cylinders are custom-made and therefore cannot be cancelled or returned.

How many keys do I receive?

For keyed-alike and separately keyed variants you will receive 3 keys per cylinder. If you need more keys, you must add them to your order separately as EC550 extra keys or EC660 extra keys!

I already own products with an EC550 or EC660 cylinder and need additional keys?

We offer you the option to order additional keys afterwards for keyed-alike cylinder sets that you already own. Please order so-called replacement keys to sample.

If you already own EC550 or EC660 cylinders, or products equipped with them, and would like to add further cylinders, we can order these for you for a small surcharge.
