Product information "ABUS Armoured Deadbolt Lock PR2700"
VdS-recognised crossbar for house and apartment doors with ABUS Security-Level 9. The ABUS PR2700 achieved the grade "very good" (1.4) and won the test in the Stiftung Warentest (issue 01/2016 | test: 15 door additional locks | www.test.de). Please note that the complete system is only VdS-recognised when a VdS-certified cylinder is used. All V410 cylinders delivered by ABUS Pfaffenhain after 31/12/2017 are no longer VdS-certified.
ABUS PR2700 - Use & Application:
The armoured bolt lock is suitable for use on wood, metal and plastic doors and is intended for door widths from 735 mm to 1,030 mm. The PR2700 can be used for doors that open inwards and outwards and protects the door both at the lock side and at the hinge side against break-in attempts. The handing can be set to DIN right or DIN left. The drive components consist of particularly low-noise components, so that the armoured bolt can be opened and closed very quietly.
The ABUS PR2700 can be ordered either with or without a cylinder; if you choose the variant with a cylinder, it can be fitted with keyed-alike cylinders (see below).

The PR2700 external escutcheon is equipped with anti-drill and anti-pull core protection.

ABUS Pfaffenhain BRAVUS.2000 Double Cylinder 30/60
This cylinder is a high-end model, the emergency and danger function is integrated and the drill and pull protection measures used here are at a high level. Additional security is provided by the dimple reversible key, which is used here as an individually coded keying with a security card. It was manufactured and certified to VdS-A standard.
ABUS PR2700 - Dimensions & Installation:
ABUS armoured bolts can be installed on the door by anyone. A detailed operating and installation manual is included. This illustrated guide shows step by step how the PR2700 must be mounted on the door. You will also find further information on suitable accessories there.
The armoured bolt ABUS PR2700 is designed for door widths of 735 mm – 1030 mm and door leaf thicknesses of 35 mm – 50 mm. Greater door leaf thicknesses can be compensated with a different profile cylinder and appropriate spacer washers. In this case you should order the armoured bolt without cylinder and add profile cylinders, spacer washers and additional screws separately according to the table.

Knob Cylinder:
The armoured bolt ABUS PR2700 can optionally also be equipped with a knob cylinder. For a door thickness of 35 mm to 50 mm a knob cylinder of the size outside = 60 mm; inside = 30 mm would be required, i.e. cylinder side 60 mm and knob side 30 mm. Suitable knob cylinders can be found here in the shop.
Keyed alike:
The armoured bolt lock ABUS PR2700 can be ordered either with or without a cylinder. Therefore the PR2700 can be manufactured keyed alike with any chosen cylinder. If you need two (or more) PR2700 armoured bolts keyed alike or would like them keyed alike to your front door, order the armoured bolt(s) in the variant without cylinder and order two (or more) keyed-alike cylinders of your choice in the appropriate lengths separately.
ABUS PR2700 in the test:
The armoured bolt ABUS PR2700 achieved the grade very good (1.4) and was the test winner in a test by Stiftung Warentest (issue 01/2016 | test: 15 door additional locks | www.test.de). In the test categories static load, break-in attempt with tools, cylinder covering, security latch and “permanently legible information on the product” the armoured bolt was graded very good. The test categories installation instructions and daily operation scored well.
