ABUS PR1500 security bar lock:
Like the ABUS PR1400, the ABUS PR1500 is particularly suitable for use on doors to cellars, storage rooms or garages. Side or secondary doors can be well protected against break-ins by using the security bar lock. The PR1500 can be used for metal, plastic and wooden doors and fits doors hung on the right or left.
The ABUS PR1500 is supplied as standard with an ABUS EC550 half-cylinder with the cylinder length 10/30. This allows the security bar to be locked quickly and easily from the inside. If required, weak doors can optionally be protected with two security bars. These are mounted in the upper and lower third of the door.
ABUS PR1500 - Dimensions & Installation:
The security bar can be used for door leaf widths from 780 mm to 1,040 mm; for very wide doors a special extension is available separately as an accessory. With this, door leaf widths of up to 1,440 mm can be secured. The supplied locking cylinder can be easily removed or replaced and can, for example, be exchanged for keyed-alike cylinders.
The ABUS PR1500 can be fitted to the door yourself with the appropriate tools and some DIY skill. The security bar lock includes a detailed and illustrated operating and installation manual. The necessary installation steps are explained simply and clearly in the manual. A list of the required tools and information on suitable accessories can also be found there; if in doubt you should engage a tradesperson.

Please note that the entire system is only recognised by VdS when a VdS-certified cylinder is used. All V410 cylinders delivered by ABUS Pfaffenhain after 31/12/2017 are no longer VdS-certified.ABUS PR2700 - Use & Application:The armoured deadbolt lock is suitable for use on wood, metal and plastic doors and is intended for door widths from 735 mm to 1,030 mm.
