Blind cylinder Titalium TI series - Areas of application
The ABUS blind cylinder TI is suitable for house entrance doors and apartment entrance doors and is easy to install and remove.
The split configuration for the TI series makes it possible to use the cylinder in different length configurations. Please refer to the table at the end of this page for the exact size breakdown.
How do I measure the door cylinder length?
The correct cylinder length depends on the door thickness plus the fitting thickness.
1. Measure the door
Measure from the centre of the fixing screw to each cylinder end - dimensions a and b as shown on the left of the sketch.
2. Select the profile cylinder length
The cylinder length corresponds to the measured dimensions a and b. The door cylinder may protrude beyond the door escutcheon - however, a maximum of 3 mm to the outside.
If more than 3 mm protrudes, the cylinder offers an attack surface for saws and other tools.

Dimensions a, b and c change depending on the cylinder size. Please see the table below. All other dimensions are as shown in the graphic on the left and fit all German standard PZ-drilled doors (PZ means locks with profile cylinders).
