ABUS door auxiliary lock 7010 (metal housing)

The ABUS 7010 is a mechanical auxiliary door lock for securing doors. Thanks to the practical turn knob, a quick escape is ensured in an emergency.

ABUS 7010 - Use & Application:

The ABUS 7010 has been designed to provide additional protection for doors. The auxiliary door lock is mounted on the lock side and, thanks to the robust steel bolt and strong wall anchoring, can withstand a pressure resistance of over one tonne. The lock can be used for DIN-right and DIN-left doors and can be easily and comfortably opened from the inside using a turn knob.

The ABUS 7010 is supplied as standard with an ABUS EC550 or EC660 profile cylinder. This can optionally be ordered in a keyed-alike version (one key for several locks) and combined with other EC550/EC660 products. Information on ordering keyed-alike items can be found under Schließung.

The ABUS 7010 in the variant offered here is equipped with a metal cover plate produced by die-casting. The hinge side of your door should be secured separately, e.g. with door hinge protection devices.

ABUS 7010 - Dimensions & Installation:

The 7010 can be used for inward-opening, single-leaf doors. The 7010 is mounted on the door leaf and door frame. A comprehensive and illustrated installation manual is included. If in doubt, you should have a professional carry out the installation. Two different variants of the turn knob are supplied.

These can be exchanged according to personal preference. Further information can be found in the installation and operating instructions (see Downloads).

The ABUS 7010 can be mounted without an external cylinder. The latch can then only be operated by you using the turn knob. No drilling through the door is required.

How do I order keyed-alike cylinders?

Select the 7010 in a keyed-alike variant and add it to the shopping cart. All keyed-alike cylinders (e.g. double, half and knob cylinders) and products of the EC550 or EC660 series (e.g. ABUS PR 2600 security bolt) as well as the corresponding additional keys are coordinated within one order. If you require two different keyed-alike systems, please place two separate orders to avoid combined shipping. Please note: Keyed-alike cylinders are special manufacture items and therefore cannot be cancelled or returned.

How many keys will I receive?

For keyed-alike and differently keyed variants you will receive 3 keys per cylinder. If you require more keys, you must add them separately to your order as additional keys!

I already own products with EC550 or EC660 cylinders and need more keys?

We offer the option to order additional keys retrospectively for keyed-alike cylinder sets that you already own. Please order so-called replacement keys to pattern and provide your key number (e.g. SM12345) when ordering. For EC660 we require a copy of the security card after ordering.

I already own EC550 or EC660 cylinders and need additional cylinders?

If you already own EC550 or EC660 cylinders or products equipped with them and wish to add further cylinders, we can order these for you for a small surcharge. To adapt the cylinders accordingly, we also require one of your keys. Please send your request by e-mail (info[at]endlich-sicher.de) – you will receive an appropriate offer.

The ABUS 7010 is also available with a VdS-approved cylinder as the ABUS 7010 VdS. If you prefer a variant with a lock instead of a turn knob, the ABUS 7025 is recommended. For a variant with a security bar, consider the ABUS 7030. For particularly tight installation conditions, the slim variant ABUS 7510 is suitable.

The hinge side of the door can also be optionally protected with the hinge-side protections ABUS TAS 82, ABUS TAS 102 or ABUS TAS 112.
