The ABUS 2410 window security device can be integrated on the inside of the window and is mounted on the handle side. It is suitable for all common windows and patio doors that open inwards and have a rebate depth of 13 - 20 mm. Whether your windows are made of aluminium, wood or plastic, the supplementary window lock 2410 is suitable for all three types and can be ordered in both "white" and "brown".
ABUS 2410 - Use & Application:
The 2410 from ABUS not only provides a high level of security comfort, but thanks to its compact design and the right choice of colours is relatively unobtrusive. It also offers a high level of ease of use: when the bolt is swung over the window sash, the supplementary lock automatically locks and can then only be reopened with the supplied key.
For very tall windows, two ABUS 2510 units should be fitted, one at the top and one at the bottom of the sash. The hinge side of the window should also be secured separately with hinge-side security devices.
ABUS 2410 - Dimensions & Installation:
There must be at least 20 mm of space on the centre stile for the window security device to be mounted. Installation requires three drill holes in the window frame, but none in the window sash.

The lock is therefore keyed alike with all other items that are also supplied with our house keying. This is particularly user-friendly and convenient, as the same key can be used for all locks with the same house keying.
