ABUS FG300 – Use & Application:

Lockable window handles such as the FG300 are ideal for child safety on windows. However, they can also help deter break-ins, as they limit the escape routes available to intruders. Thanks to the adjustable square spindle, the ABUS FG300 lockable window handle is suitable for universal use and can easily replace your existing window handle.

The ABUS FG300 lockable window handle is simply locked using the push cylinder and unlocked with the key. The ABUS FG300 is suitable for windows made of plastic, aluminium and wood. The ABUS FG300 window handle is double-lockable and can also be locked even when the window is tilted.

ABUS FG300 – Dimensions & Fitting:

Lockable window handles from ABUS are suitable for universal use. The installation dimensions of the ABUS FG300 lockable window handle are adapted to German standard windows. To check whether the lockable window handle will actually fit your window, you can measure the square spindle of your existing window handle.

The existing window handle is removed using a cordless screwdriver or a screwdriver and replaced with the ABUS FG300 window handle. With a bit of DIY skill, it is easy to fit the ABUS FG300 lockable window handle yourself; however, if necessary, you can ask a professional to carry out the fitting.

When using a lockable window handle, the hinge side of the window should also be protected with hinge-side security devices.

Locking mechanism:

The ABUS FG300 lockable window handle comes as standard with our endlich-sicher.de house locking system. The lock can therefore be used with all other items that also feature our ‘Haus’ locking system (i.e. all items with the ‘Haus’ locking system that you are currently ordering or have previously ordered from us). This means: a single key can be used for all locks with the same ‘Haus’ locking system.

Packaging:

The ABUS FG300 can be purchased either in an individual box or loose (securely wrapped in plastic). In both cases, these are genuine ABUS products. Both versions come with keys, fitting materials and an instruction manual – only the packaging differs.
