A great deal of attention in the development of the bicycle lock GRANIT Super Extreme 2500 was devoted to achieving the best possible resistance to attacks with electric, battery-powered cut-off grinders, because this method of breaking bicycle locks is increasingly observed in large cities. The special carbide material mix around the shackle and lock body is the answer to this phenomenon and makes it especially difficult for thieves. The shackle, the housing and load-bearing parts of the locking mechanism are made from hardened steel. The ABUS XPlus cylinder offers high protection against manipulation such as picking.
The supplied USH 2500 bracket for the lock can be attached flexibly to the bike thanks to plastic-coated metal tension straps and optional screw holes. To prevent the lock from rattling in the bracket while riding, it is fixed in the USH 2500 by both ends of the shackle. Not intrusive while riding and secure when stationary.
