ABUS 2530 - Use and application:
The ABUS 2530 additional window lock is suitable for inward-opening single- and double-sash windows, especially those with a central bar (max. bar width 42 mm). Thanks to the 22 mm gap it is particularly suitable for tight and very narrow installation situations. The ABUS 2530 can be easily locked without a key; however a key is required to open it. The additional window lock is VdS- and DIN-recognised, also for plastic windows.
ABUS 2530 - Dimensions and installation:
The ABUS 2530 can be mounted on wood, plastic and aluminium windows with just 2 screws, and no drilling of the window sash is necessary. In addition, the IM100 fixing set can be used for better anchoring in plastic windows.
Keying:
The ABUS 2530 additional window lock is supplied as standard with our endlich-sicher.de master key system. The lock is therefore keyed alike with all other items that are also supplied with our house keying (stated in the respective product description). This is especially user-friendly and convenient, as the same key can be used for all locks with the same house keying.
