ABUS window supplementary lock FTS206 keyed alike

The window auxiliary lock ABUS FTS206 is a two-stage auxiliary lock for windows. The locking is achieved by pressing in the lower locking bolt. In the first stage the bolt is only pressed in slightly, thereby providing good presence protection. In stage two the entire bolt is pressed in, resulting in a total lock and thus increased burglary protection even when absent.

ABUS FTS206 - Use & Application:

The ABUS FTS206 can be used for inward-opening windows and patio doors made of aluminium, wood or plastic and provides increased protection against prying open. The solid frame strip and the sturdy sash plate offer particularly high security.

The ABUS FTS206 is locked by pressing in the locking bolt; the total lock is opened with the corresponding key. Operation can be from the top or bottom, as required. Auxiliary window locks such as the ABUS FTS206 should be supplemented with hinge-side security devices on the hinge side.

ABUS FTS206 - Dimensions & Installation:

The FTS206 is generally mounted on the inside of the window; the sash plate of the ABUS FTS206 is fitted to the window sash, the frame strip to the window frame. Installation can be carried out relatively easily by yourself. However, if you do not feel confident performing the installation, you should commission a professional. The lock can be automatically keyed alike with all other items that also have our house keying (that is, all items with house keying that you are currently ordering or have previously ordered from us). Whether an item has the house keying can be found in the item description. This means: one key can be used for all locks with the same house keying.
