Whether you are spending longer in the garden, taking the dog for a walk or just going for a run. The HomeTec Pro wireless window security drive makes it possible to lock the patio door behind you by pressing a button or entering a code. The security variant FSA3550 features, in addition to an alarm function with 110 dBA, two locking points each able to withstand one tonne of pressure and the locking rods secure your patio door over the full height. With the new wireless window drive ABUS is bringing a world first to market that offers you the same security and convenience as a professional electronic door lock. The drive can be controlled with the wireless remote control or by entering a code using the optional keypad. The mechanical locking function via the handle is retained.

The ABUS FSA3550 can be ordered optionally with or without a window rod set. To ensure the full functionality of the ABUS security drive, the rod lock must be combined and installed with a matching window rod set.

ABUS FSA3550 - Use & Application:

The window security drive ABUS FSA3550 can be flexibly used on most inward-opening window-doors with a height of up to 3.10 m. With one robust latching point at the top and bottom respectively, the patented locking system is capable of withstanding pressure loads and lever-prying attacks from outside even over extended periods.

With its robust anchoring points the ABUS security drive reliably protects window-doors. The existing window handle is replaced by the ABUS rod lock FOS550. Locking is effected via a pressure cylinder – a key is required to open. To use the full range of functions you will need either the wireless remote control CFF3000 or the wireless keypad CFT3000 from the ABUS HomeTec Pro programme. When the window-door is closed and the window drive is activated, the massive locking rods extend and reliably lock the window. The ABUS FSA3550 is therefore ideal for window-doors as well as patio and balcony doors.

ABUS FSA3550 - Dimensions & Installation:

For installation you need the ABUS FSA3550 itself and a suitable rod set. Select the desired colour and the rod set to match the existing sash height above. The sash height is determined from the square spindle, i.e. the distance from the square spindle to the bottom or top edge of the window sash. During installation the rods are shortened accordingly. The rod set is available in four different lengths (see list below). If you already own a rod set you can also order the window drive individually without a rod set (select "without rod set" above under Rod Set).

The different rod sets are available here separately, also without the rod lock. Installation can be carried out by anyone with sufficient DIY skills – if in doubt you should commission a professional to carry out the installation. Window rod sets:

* The sash height is measured from the square spindle of the window handle. The distances apply from the handle to the top or bottom edge of the window sash. For smaller sash heights the rods can be shortened accordingly.

Keying:

The wireless security drive ABUS FSA3550 is delivered in the endlich-sicher house keying. This means that items already purchased with the house keying can be used keyed alike with the ABUS FSA3550. With just one key you can thus open various ABUS locks supplied with the house keying. Which products are supplied with the house keying is stated in the respective product description.
