What can you do with it? The Dremel 9952 carving cutter for powerful carving was developed for twice the material removal speed compared with Dremel standard milling bits. It can both remove material powerfully and prepare the workpiece for the final sanding. The hardened stainless steel teeth of the cutter allow powerful carving and high material removal; they are also rust-resistant. The small cone, 6.35 mm wide, provides access to hard-to-reach areas and allows carving deep holes into the workpiece. Thin and precise lines can also be carved with the tip. Use with Dremel Stylo+ or Dremel Lite is not recommended.
How does the application work? Achieve optimal performance with the Dremel accessory by letting your multitool do the work without applying too much pressure yourself. For effective work, the sides of the accessory head should be applied at an angle of less than 90 degrees. If the cutter chatters heavily without removing material, increasing the speed can produce a smoother run. Please note that this accessory is not suitable for use with Dremel Stylo+, Dremel Lite and Dremel 7350.
Suitable for the following materials: wood, wood-like materials, plastics, EVA foam and rubber.
Recommended speeds: Wood: 20,000–25,000 rpm. Plastic: 15,000–25,000 rpm.
