DOM ix Twido double cylinder

The ix Twido system was developed for use in larger, hierarchically organised sites in medium-sized or large commercial enterprises with high security requirements. The optional modular technology of the mechanical profile cylinder offers flexible length adjustment on site at any time (e.g. due to relocation or the installation of a new door). The reversible key made of high-quality nickel silver provides a high level of user comfort and its key shank length is matched to the most common security fittings.

With the DOM ix Twido system you will receive a security card for locking systems. That is your special security plus! After all, duplicates can only be ordered from the specialist dealer upon presentation of this card. With the DOM ix Twido you really have a strong advantage when it comes to security.

High security

Up to 12 profile control pins and 7 spring-loaded locking levers per cylinder make overcoming the cylinder of the locking system almost impossible. The hardened steel bar also offers increased protection against forceful “breaking off” and “pulling” of the cylinder.

High protection against key copying

The new reversible key system ix Twido is particularly well protected against unauthorised copying by a floating-mounted double roller in the key. A special high-low milling (HT) in the horizontal base profile provides additional security in profile control and is difficult to copy. The new ix Twido meets almost every security requirement. With the new roller technology and the sophisticated design you have a locking system in your hands that really has a lot to offer.

Enhanced drill protection:
Via the selection menu you have the option to equip the cylinder with improved drill protection. This provides even greater protection against damage caused by drill bits.

modular construction:
Via the selection menu you have the option to order the cylinder in a modular design. This offers you the advantage that you can have the cylinder length changed afterwards. This is particularly practical when moving, as you can adapt the cylinder to the new door. This is considerably cheaper than buying a new cylinder.

The DOM 333 ix Twido double cylinder is available in so-called different-key and keyed-alike variants (selection is made below "cylinder length" under "locking"). When using several keyed-alike cylinders, all cylinders can be opened with a single key. With different-key cylinders, different keys are required for each individual cylinder. How do I order keyed-alike cylinders?

Select the 333 ix Twido in a keyed-alike variant and add it to your basket. All keyed-alike cylinders (e.g. double, half and knob cylinders) as well as the corresponding additional keys will then be coordinated within the order. If you need two or more different keyed-alike systems, please place two separate orders. Please read the product description carefully to see whether other products are compatible. Please note: cylinders of the ix Twido series are custom-made and therefore cannot be cancelled or returned!

How many keys do I receive?

For both keyed-alike and different-key variants you will receive 3 keys per cylinder. If you need more keys, these must be added separately to the order as additional keys.

I already own products with 333 ix Twido cylinders and need more keys for them?

We offer you the option of ordering additional keys afterwards for keyed-alike cylinder sets that you already own. Please order so-called replacement keys according to the sample and provide your key number (e.g. SM12345) when ordering. In addition, we require the original key card. Please send this to us by post.

I already own 333 ix Twido cylinders and need additional cylinders?

If you already own 333 ix Twido cylinders or products equipped with them and would like to add further cylinders, we can order these for you at a small surcharge. To adapt the cylinders accordingly, we also need your key card. Please send your inquiry by e-mail (info[at]endlich-sicher.de) – you will then receive a corresponding offer.
