DOM ix Twido thumbturn cylinder

As a knob cylinder of the DOM ixTwido series, this represents another cylinder type alongside double and half cylinders. This mechanical profile cylinder is also optionally available with increased drill protection and a modular design, but already offers the highest protection in the standard version with security level 5. The cylinders of the ixTwido series are primarily designed for very complex or very large locking systems and are particularly used in large commercial premises through the combination with the increased security standard.

Modular design:
Due to the modular design of the cylinder, it is possible to change the lengths of the cylinder afterwards. This allows you to adapt it to any installation situation, for example one caused by a move. This avoids the need to repurchase a sample cylinder that must be manufactured to fit your locking and the associated sample surcharge.

High security

The up to 12 profile control pins and the 7 spring-loaded locking levers per cylinder make overcoming the cylinder of the locking system almost impossible. The hardened steel bar also offers increased protection against forcible “tearing off” and “pulling” of the cylinder.

High protection against key copying

The new reversible key system ix Twido is particularly well protected against unauthorised copies by a floating-mounted double roller in the key. A special high-low milling (HT) in the horizontal base profile provides additional security during profile control and is difficult to copy. The new ix Twido meets almost every security requirement. With the new roller technology and the sophisticated design, you hold a locking system in your hands that truly has it all.

DOM 333 ix Twido knob cylinder - further information

The knob cylinder of the DOM ix Twido series can only be integrated into a keyed-alike system with cylinders from the same series, i.e. all cylinders have the identical keying and each of the supplied keys is aligned to that one keying. If you ordered a single cylinder as “keyed differently”, it is of course still possible afterwards to reproduce cylinders with the same keying; however, you must request this by e-mail (info@endlich-sicher.de).

How do I order keyed-alike cylinders?

Select the 333 ix Twido in a keyed-alike variant and add it to the shopping cart. All keyed-alike cylinders (e.g. double, half and knob cylinders) as well as the corresponding additional keys will then be coordinated within the order. If you require two or more different keyed-alike systems, please place two separate orders. Please read the article text carefully to see whether other products are compatible.

I already own products with the 333 ix Twido cylinder and need additional keys for them?

Please send us an enquiry by e-mail; you will receive an appropriate offer and all information on the further procedure. The only important preliminary information is that we require the security card in the original both for the sample order of a cylinder and for a sample key.
