Door closer GEZE TS 5000 ECline

The sliding-rail door closer GEZE TS 5000 ECline fulfils the requirements for barrier-free construction according to the DIN standard 18040 for door widths up to 1110 mm. To ensure the DIN standard 18040 for doors up to 1250 mm, the ECline sliding rail is additionally required. The GEZE TS 5000 ECline is mounted at the top of the door.

Thanks to its barrier-free design, this door closer is ideal for hospitals, care homes for the elderly, homes for people with disabilities or nurseries where the door must be opened with little force.

GEZE TS 5000 ECline - Use & Application:

The GEZE TS 5000 ECline offers a high level of user comfort when passing through thanks to integrated opening assistance. The closer can be fitted for both DIN handings and is also well suited for fire and smoke protection doors. For use of the TS 5000 ECline on a fire and smoke protection door you require a mounting plate. The mounting plate can also be ordered from us.

At the front of the closer you have many adjustable configurations such as setting the closing speed, the hydraulic end stop, the opening damping and the closing force (EN 3-5). By turning the screws you adjust the strength of these settings. With a separate hold-open unit you can set a hold-open angle between 80° - 130°. The hold-open unit can be found under Accessories. 

Please note: If you wish to replace an existing GEZE door closer that was manufactured BEFORE 2000–2002, we recommend ordering a new arm/sliding rail and a mounting plate in addition to the door closer, as some changes have been made and the old fittings are no longer compatible!

GEZE TS 5000 ECline - Installation:

Select the mounting type between hinge side and non-hinge side in the variant above. The TS 5000 ECline can be used for head/lintel mounting and door leaf mounting.

For head mounting with a lintel on your door you will separately require a mounting plate and a lintel mounting bracket (on request).

There are two different sliding rails for hinge-side and non-hinge-side mounting. We have taken this into account in our configurator; however, please ensure when reordering that you select the correct sliding rail.

 Note: For head mounting on the non-hinge side, opening damping is not possible for technical reasons.
