ABUS Vitess.1000 double cylinder - Use and application:

The proven Vitess locking system offers cylinders in different levels (Vitess.1000, Vitess.2000 and Vitess.4000). Even the mechanical profile cylinder Vitess.1000 offers the highest technical and legal copy protection with its coded profile rib and the patented Intop system. Unauthorized key copies are thus largely prevented.

The paracentric profile with vertical key insertion, the six spring-loaded pins and the standard drill protection make the Vitess.1000 double cylinder a modern and durable profile cylinder. In the keyed-alike variant the double cylinder is compatible with other cylinders of the cylinder series, e.g. with half, knob and round cylinders, as well as the cam lock for mailboxes. Security bolts without a cylinder can also be retrofitted with the Vitess.1000.

Please note: All cylinders of the Vites.1000 series are manufactured to order by ABUS Pfaffenhain and, as custom-made items, cannot be cancelled or returned.

The following cylinder configurations are custom-made and are excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal:

• all keyed-alike cylinders

ABUS Vitess.1000 double cylinder - Keyed-alike variant:

The Vitess.1000 is available in many cylinder lengths and also in a keyed-alike variant. When using several keyed-alike cylinders, they can all be opened with just one key. Please note the following when ordering:

How do I order keyed-alike cylinders?

Select the desired cylinders of the Vitess.1000 series in a keyed-alike variant and add them to your shopping basket. All keyed-alike cylinders of the Vitess.1000 family, as well as any added additional keys within one basket, will be matched to each other. If you require two different systems, please place two separate orders.

How many keys will I receive?

You will receive 3 keys per cylinder ordered. If you need more than the standard 3 keys per cylinder, you can add these separately as additional keys!

I already own Vitess.1000 cylinders and need additional keys?

We offer you the option of ordering additional keys afterwards for keyed-alike cylinder sets that you already own. Please order the so-called keys according to sample and follow the instructions in the product description.

If you already use Vitess.1000 cylinders and require further cylinders, we can gladly manufacture these cylinders for you according to the sample. To adapt the cylinders accordingly, we also need your key card. Please send your enquiry by e-mail (info[at]endlich-sicher.de) – you will then receive a corresponding quotation.

ABUS Vitess.1000 double cylinder - Dimensions and installation:

Fitting thickness and door thickness determine the required cylinder length. You can read off the required measurement on the respective door. The measurements A and B (see diagram) yield the required cylinder length.
