ABUS Vitess.2000 double cylinder - use and application:

The Vitess.2000 double cylinder forms the second stage of the Vitess series from ABUS Pfaffenhain (Vitess.1000, Vitess.2000 and Vitess.4000). With its coded profile rib with profile probing pin and the patented Intop system, the mechanical profile cylinder offers the highest protection against copying, making unauthorised key duplication virtually impossible.

The paracentric profile with vertical key entry, the six spring-loaded locking pins with up to 4 coding pins in the second locking level and the standard drill protection make the Vitess.2000 double cylinder a modern and durable profile cylinder. In the keyed-alike variant the double cylinder is compatible with other cylinders in the series, e.g. half, knob and rim cylinders, as well as the lever lock for letterboxes.

Please note: All cylinders of the Vites.2000 series are manufactured to order by ABUS Pfaffenhain and, as custom-made items, cannot be cancelled or returned.

ABUS Vitess.2000 double cylinder - keyed-alike variant:

All cylinders of the Vitess.2000 series can be ordered in a wide range of lengths and in the versions "keyed differently" or "keyed alike". With a keyed-alike configuration you can operate all cylinders within that keyed-alike group with the same key. To order this, all compatible cylinders must be in the "keyed alike" variant and, optionally, the matching additional keys must be in the shopping cart. Once the order has been placed, all cylinders in the shopping cart will be coordinated with each other.

To obtain additional keys afterwards for keyed-alike cylinder systems that you already own, please order the so-called replacement keys as per sample and follow the instructions provided in the product description.

Decisive factors for measuring the cylinder length are the fitting thickness and door thickness. The measurements A and B (see diagram) determine the required cylinder length and are each measured from the centre of the fixing screw.
