The special key offers maximum protection against copying. Commercial machines cannot copy Janus keys, and even newer 3D printers are no match for the complex key geometries. In addition, the new fine-mechanical locking mechanism provides improved protection against copying - even in the standard configuration of the lock cylinder. This makes Janus 46 one of the most secure locking systems of all time. With BKS's high-quality locking system, security, flexibility and economy have entered the building.

The Janus 46 reversible key system has once again proven to be an advanced system. The novel copy-protection feature and the dynamic key design are outstanding characteristics of the third generation. The new polygonal knob contour, the new comfort and the extended knob grip rounded off with the red ball give the key an incomparable design style. The cylinder is not only versatile and flexible in use, but also offers particularly effective protection against tampering attempts thanks to its excellent protection against drilling and pulling. The integrated copy-protection function truly provides the desired higher security.

Keying:

The BKS Janus 46 double cylinder is available in so-called keyed-differently and keyed-alike variants (the selection is made below "Cylinder length" under "Keying"). When using several keyed-alike cylinders, all cylinders can be opened with only one key. For keyed-different cylinders, different keys are required for each individual cylinder. Please note the following when ordering keyed-alike cylinders:

How do I order keyed-alike cylinders?

Select the Janus 46 in a keyed-alike variant and add it to the shopping cart. All keyed-alike cylinders (e.g. double, half and knob cylinders) and products of the Janus series as well as the corresponding additional keys will now be coordinated within the order. If you need two or more different keyed-alike systems, please place two separate orders. Please read the product text carefully to see whether other products are compatible. Please note: Keyed-alike cylinders are custom-made and therefore cannot be cancelled or returned!

How many keys will I receive?

For both keyed-alike and keyed-different variants you will receive 3 keys per cylinder. If you need more keys, these must be added to the order separately as additional keys.

I already own products with Janus 46 cylinders and need additional keys for them?

We offer you the option to order additional keys afterwards for keyed-alike cylinder sets that you already own. Please request so-called replacement keys according to sample via our contact form and include your keying number as stated on the security card.

I already own Janus 46 cylinders and need additional cylinders?

If you already own Janus 46 cylinders or products equipped with them and would like to add more cylinders, we can order these for you at a small additional cost. To adapt the cylinders accordingly, we also require one of your security cards. Please submit your request by e-mail (info[at]endlich-sicher.de) – you will then receive an appropriate offer.
