Double cylinder DOM ix Twido

The ix Twido system was developed for use in larger, hierarchically organised premises in medium-sized or large commercial enterprises with high security requirements. The optional modular technology of the mechanical profile cylinder offers flexible length adjustment on site at any time (e.g. due to moving house or the installation of a new door). The reversible key made of high-quality nickel silver provides a high level of user comfort and its key blade length is matched to the most common security fittings.

With the DOM ix Twido system you will receive a security card for locking systems. That is your particular security plus! After all, duplicate keys can only be ordered from an authorised dealer upon presentation of this card. So with the DOM ix Twido you really have a strong advantage when it comes to security.

High security

The up to 12 profile control pins and the 7 spring-loaded locking levers per cylinder make it almost impossible to overcome the cylinder of the locking system. The hardened steel bar also provides increased protection against violent “breaking off” and “pulling out” of the cylinder.

High protection against key copying

The new ix Twido reversible key system is particularly well protected against unauthorised copying by a floating-mounted double roller in the key. A special high-low milling (HT) in the horizontal base profile provides additional security during profile control and is difficult to copy. The new ix Twido meets almost every security requirement. With the new roller technology and the sophisticated design you hold a locking system in your hands that is truly impressive.

Increased drill protection:
Via the selection menu you have the option to have the cylinder fitted with improved drill protection. This provides even greater protection against damage from power drills.

modular design:
Via the selection menu you can order the cylinder in a modular design. This gives you the advantage that you can have the cylinder's length altered afterwards. This is particularly practical when moving house, as you can adapt the cylinder to the new door. This is considerably cheaper than buying a new cylinder

The DOM 333 ix Twido double cylinder is available in so-called differing-key and keyed-alike variants (the selection is made below "Zylinderlänge" under "Schließung"). When using several keyed-alike cylinders, all cylinders can be opened with only one key. With differing-key cylinders different keys are required for each individual cylinder. Please note the following when ordering keyed-alike cylinders:

How do I order keyed-alike cylinders?

Select the 333 ix Twido in a keyed-alike variant and add it to the shopping cart. All keyed-alike cylinders (e.g. double, half and knob cylinders) as well as the corresponding additional keys will then be coordinated within the order. If you require two or more different keyed-alike systems, please place two separate orders. Please read carefully in the product text whether other products are compatible. Please note: Cylinders of the ix Twido series are custom-made and therefore cannot be cancelled or returned!

How many keys will I receive?

For both keyed-alike and differing-key variants you will receive 3 keys per cylinder. If you require more keys, these must be added to the order separately as additional keys.

I already own products with 333 ix Twido cylinders and need additional keys for them?

We offer you the option to order additional keys afterwards for keyed-alike cylinder sets that you already own. Please order so-called replacement keys according to the sample and provide your key number (e.g. SM12345) when ordering. In addition we require the original key card. Please send this to us by post.

If you already own 333 ix Twido cylinders or products equipped with them and would like to add further cylinders, we can order these for you at a small additional charge.
