Door guard GfS EH 990000
The EH door guard (one-handed door guard) secures the door lever in the closed position and allows the door to be passed with a single hand in an emergency. When the door is passed, the door guard moves down and the lever is released. At the same time an alarm is triggered. This alarm can be switched off with a key. Using the device key, the door guard can also be switched off for continuous passage operation.
Installation of door guards EH 990000, 990100 and 994000
The EH 990000 and the EH 990100 with pre-alarm are mounted below the door lever on the door leaf.
The EH 994000 for panic bars is mounted below the panic bar on the lock side.
The EH door guard is powered by a 9 V battery, so no wiring is necessary. To check the battery status the key is turned fully to the left.
Door guard EH 990100 with pre-alarm
The EH door guard can also be equipped with a pre-alarm (EH 990100). If the lever rests on the door guard, a pre-alarm is triggered. When the lever is released the alarm is silenced again. If the user presses the lever all the way down, the main alarm is triggered. This pre-alarm thus serves as an early warning.
Door guard EH 994000 for panic bars
The one-handed door guard can also be used for panic bars. For this purpose the EH 994000 for panic bars must be selected. This variant is only available with a main alarm (without pre-alarm).
