A separate Wireless M-Bus receiver and registration in the Ei Electronics key portal are required for commissioning. This is a 10-year smoke alarm using an optical light-scattering principle, suitable for remote inspection according to procedure C. The device features a built-in 3 V lithium battery and an integrated wM-Bus module for remote inspection (data readout via an external reader device).

The smoke alarm is designed as a stand-alone solution and has a large test and mute button with increasing test volume. Thanks to the absence of LED flashing, it is suitable for bedrooms. In addition, it offers an obstacle detection system, automatic dirt compensation and tamper protection.

Awarded the Q quality mark, the device has been tested and certified to DIN EN 14604 and complies with the requirements of DIN 14676-1.
