ABUS Vitess.4000 Half Cylinder - Use and Application:

The Vitess.4000 half cylinder from ABUS Pfaffenhain can be used for house and apartment entrance doors as well as garage doors, garden gates and padlocks. The patented Intellitec system provides protection against unauthorised key copies. The half cylinder can be keyed alike with double-, knob- and round cylinders of the Vitess.4000 series. It can also be combined with the practical lever lock for letterboxes.

ABUS Vitess.4000 Half Cylinder - Keyed-alike variant:

The Vitess.4000 is available in many cylinder lengths and in a keyed-alike variant. When using several keyed-alike cylinders, they can all be opened with just one key. Please note the following when ordering:

How do I order keyed-alike cylinders?

Select the desired cylinders of the Vitess.4000 series in a keyed-alike variant and add them to your shopping cart. All keyed-alike cylinders of the Vitess.4000 family, as well as any additional keys added within one shopping cart, will be coordinated with each other. If you require two different systems, please place two separate orders.

How many keys will I receive?

The delivery includes 3 keys per cylinder ordered, regardless of the keying. If you require more keys, you can extend your order by adding additional keys.

I already own Vitess.4000 cylinders and need more keys?

Have you lost your key or need more? No problem, you can reorder new keys afterwards for the cylinders you already have at home. Simply order the so‑called replacement keys according to the sample and follow the instructions in the respective product description.

I already own Vitess.4000 cylinders and need additional cylinders?

If you already have keyed-alike cylinders from the Vitess.4000 system and wish to add more cylinders, we can have these manufactured for you for an additional charge. To adapt the cylinders accordingly, we also require your key card. Please send your request by e-mail (info[at]endlich-sicher.de) – you will then receive an appropriate offer.

ABUS Vitess.4000 Half Cylinder - Dimensions and installation:

The cylinder length you require depends on the thickness of your door and the thickness of the fittings. The required measurement can be read off the relevant door. Measurements A and B (see diagram) give the required cylinder length.
