The premium Janus 46 reversible key system comes with a novel copy-protection and modified keys in a dynamic design. With the red bead on the handle and the extended shank, BKS relies on numerous recognition features.
The cylinder can be used flexibly and, precisely because of the innovative copy-protection features, offers exactly what is needed for a secure home. Attempts at tampering stand no chance here.

Standard commercial machines cannot copy the Janus key and even modern 3D printers are not able to reproduce the complex key geometry. The special pin-dimple key is designed to provide the highest copy protection. In addition, a new fine-mechanical locking mechanism provides extended protection – in cylinders for master-key systems even as standard. This makes the Janus 46 one of the safest locking systems overall.

Keying:

The BKS Janus 46 double cylinder is available in so-called differently-keyed and keyed-alike variants (selection is made below "Cylinder length" under "Keying"). When using multiple keyed-alike cylinders, all cylinders can be opened with a single key. For differently-keyed cylinders, different keys are required for each individual cylinder. Please note the following when ordering keyed-alike cylinders:

How many keys will I receive?

You will receive 3 keys per cylinder for both keyed-alike and differently-keyed variants. If you need more keys, they must be added to the order separately as additional keys.

How do I order keyed-alike cylinders?

Select the Janus 46 in a keyed-alike variant and add it to your shopping cart. All keyed-alike cylinders (e.g. double, half and knob cylinders) and products of the Janus series, as well as the corresponding additional keys, will then be coordinated within the order. If you require two or more different keyed-alike systems, please place two separate orders. Please read the product text carefully to see whether other products are compatible.

I already own Janus 46 cylinders and need additional cylinders?

If you already own Janus 46 cylinders or products equipped with them and would like to add further cylinders, we can order these for you at a small additional charge. To adapt the cylinders accordingly, we also require one of your security cards. Please submit your request by email (info[at]endlich-sicher.de) – you will then receive an appropriate offer.

I already own products with Janus 46 cylinders and require additional keys for them?

We offer you the option to order further keys retrospectively for keyed-alike cylinder sets that you already own. Please request so-called replacement keys according to sample via our contact form and also include your keying number as stated on the security card.
