RENZ Letterbox Classic - Use & Application:
The Standard Briefkasten from RENZ impresses with its rectangular, timeless design and its affordable price. The "Classic" letterbox is recommended for sheltered (rain-protected) areas. In our online shop it can be purchased in five different sizes (8/12/17/19/23 litres).
The 8-litre variant is ideal when mail is rarely expected and can accept letters in A4 format. The solid workmanship of the 12-litre variant can, despite its small capacity, accept postal items in C4 insertion format. The 17-litre variant of the "Classic" model is designed to accommodate large postal items in C4 format. The 19- and 23-litre variants are ideal for households with many people and can accept items in C4/B4 format.
Galfan steel model: Door and housing made of corrosion-protected and powder-coated steel. The letter flap is made of powder-coated aluminium. The door thickness is 1.25 mm. Galfan is a high-quality zinc-coated steel sheet produced by a melt process. The corrosion resistance with this process is four times higher than that of hot-dip galvanised steel sheets. The Galfan steel letterboxes can be ordered in various RAL colours. The gloss level is indicated in gloss units (=GE).

- When ordering RENZ Galfan steel letterboxes and stainless steel letterboxes these are custom-made! Therefore cancellation or exchange is excluded.
- If you have chosen a model in a custom RAL colour, please add this RAL colour in the comment field on the order confirmation page when placing your order.

The original RENZ letterboxes of the Classic series, STANDARD model, are, with the exception of the 8-litre model, tested to the European standard DIN EN 13724.
