HEWI 111.23 Short escutcheon set (R-Technik)
The HEWI 111.23 short escutcheon set is made from high-quality polyamide plastic and has a steel core. The door handle for interior doors features the classic U-shape, which prevents snagging on clothing or bags. The HEWI 111.23 is certified to DIN EN 179 and DIN 1906 and corresponds to usage category 4.
The set is suitable for high-traffic commercial doors according to DIN 18255 and DIN EN 1906 thanks to manufacturing using R-Technik technology. It has been tested and certified for over 1 million operating cycles. In addition, R-Technik simplifies installation because the levers simply snap onto the subparts pre-mounted in the door. The square spindle compensates for any play between the escutcheon parts.
The escutcheon is mounted to the door using sleeve screws and support pins (concealed fixings). The handle has a diameter of 23 mm and can be fitted on either side. The backplate measures 46 x 168 mm and is 11 mm thick. The material thickness is 1.5 mm. The centres distance is 72 mm.
