HOPPE SecuForte - Press first, then turn for increased window security
Window handles equipped with the SecuForte standard offer a patented new safety aspect for burglary prevention: in the closed as well as the tilted position the square spindle and the handle itself are decoupled. As a result, the handle is automatically locked. This makes burglary attempts by displacing the window fitting or by puncturing the glass or drilling the frame almost completely impossible.
This is achieved by the patented "press first, then turn" principle, whereby the window handle must be pressed towards the escutcheon before it can be operated. This principle is often also used for medicines
or cleaning agents. It is also advantageous that the handle lock is always engaged automatically, because after completing the operation of the handle the spindle and handle are separated again. Therefore, before operating the handle again it must be pressed once more towards the escutcheon.

VarioFit - the length-adjustable square spindle
The VarioFit window handle adapts its spindle length to the respective depth of the window profile. This is made possible by a compression spring that is mounted inside the window handle on the square spindle. The spring mechanism continuously pushes the square spindle into the square aperture of the drive nut and ensures an exact fit. VarioFit thus bridges differences in installation depths of up to 10 mm and can therefore be fitted to windows with different profile cross-sections.
