Overhead door closer DORMA TS 93 G Contur, without sliding rail, aluminium

The sliding-channel door closer TS 93 represents a modular system that, with just a few door closer models and various sliding channels, fulfils practically any conceivable functional requirement. It makes it possible to equip doors optimally for the most diverse applications and designs. In addition, DORMA EASY OPEN technology provides maximum ease of passage.

DORMA TS 93 system - Use and application:

The sliding-channel door closer DORMA TS 93 is designed in the elegant Contur design. The TS 93 series from DORMA can be used for almost any purpose on a wide variety of doors. It is suitable for standard doors with a door width of 1250 mm to 1600 mm and can also be used for fire and smoke protection doors. In the EN 2-5 version it even meets the strict criteria for accessible doors according to DIN 18040 for door widths up to 1250 mm (provided the maximum opening torque of 47 Nm is not exceeded).

The DORMA TS 93 can be used for DIN right and DIN left doors and is available in the two closing force ranges EN 2-5 for door widths up to 1250 mm and EN 5-7 for door widths up to 1600 mm.

DORMA TS 93 system - Dimensions and installation:

Installation can be carried out on the door leaf on either the hinge side or the non-hinge side. The factory-fitted features "delayed action (DC/SV)" and "opening damping (BC/OD)" are each adjustable via a valve.

DORMA TS 93 system B - Hinge-side mounting:

If the door closer is to be mounted on the same side as the door hinges, you need the hinge-side variant.

DORMA TS 93 system G - Non-hinge-side mounting:

If the TS 93 door closer is to be fitted on the side opposite the door hinges, the non-hinge-side variant is required.

DORMA TS 93 system - Head/transom mounting:

The normal attachment of a door closer is achieved by mounting the closer body on the door and the sliding channel on the door frame. If this is not possible, the DORMA TS 93 can also be mounted in the head/transom position (transom mounting), i.e. sliding channel on the door and the door closer on the door frame.

Please note: If you wish to replace an existing DORMA door closer that was manufactured BEFORE the year 2000, we recommend ordering a new linkage and a mounting plate in addition to the door closer, as there have been some changes and the old fittings may no longer be compatible!
