Overhead door closer DORMA TS 93 B, aluminium

 The sliding track door closer TS 93 represents a modular system that, with only a few door closer models and various sliding tracks, fulfils practically every conceivable functional requirement. It enables doors for the most diverse applications and in the most varied designs to be optimally equipped. In addition, DORMA EASY OPEN technology provides the highest level of convenience when passing through.

DORMA TS 93 system – use and application:

The sliding track door closer DORMA TS 93 is designed in the elegant Contur design. The TS 93 series from DORMA can be used for almost any application on a wide variety of doors. It is suitable for standard doors with a door width of 1250 mm to 1600 mm and can also be used for fire and smoke doors. In the EN 2-5 version it even meets the strict criteria for barrier-free doors according to DIN 18040 for door widths up to 1250 mm (provided the maximum opening moment of 47 Nm is observed).

The DORMA TS 93 can be used for doors with DIN-R and DIN-L and is available in the two closing powers EN 2-5 for door widths up to 1250 mm and EN 5-7 for door widths up to 1600 mm.

DORMA TS 93 system – dimensions and mounting:

The unit can be mounted on the door leaf either on the hinge side or on the opposite hinge side. The factory-fitted features "closing delay (DC/SV)" and "opening damping (BC/ÖD)" can each be adjusted via a valve.

DORMA TS 93 System B – hinge-side mounting:

If the door closer is to be mounted on the same side as the door hinges, you need the hinge-side variant.

DORMA TS 93 System G – opposite-hinge-side mounting:

If the TS 93 door closer is to be attached on the side opposite the door hinges, the opposite-hinge-side variant is required.

DORMA TS 93 System – head mounting:

The normal installation of a door closer is achieved by mounting the closer body on the door and the sliding track on the door frame. If this is not possible, the DORMA TS 93 can also be mounted in the head position (overhead mounting), i.e. sliding track on the door and the door closer on the door frame.

Please note: If you wish to replace an existing DORMA door closer that was manufactured before the year 2000, we recommend ordering a new linkage and a mounting plate in addition to the door closer, as some changes have been made and the old fittings are no longer compatible!
