The Planet Sockel cover profile is a high-quality solution for quick and neat retrofitting of Planet door seals, in particular Planet FT, RF and GH. The robust aluminium profile (22 × 69 mm) is screwed to the side of the door and is ideal for doors that cannot be grooved – for example steel or aluminium doors. With its clear anodised finish, pre-drilled screw holes and the possibility to shorten the profile by up to 100 mm, the Planet Sockel offers a durable, visually neat and installation-friendly addition for existing and new doors.

Further information
The Planet Sockel has been specially developed to enable the mounting of Planet drop seals on doors that cannot be grooved. This includes in particular steel, aluminium and many existing doors in older buildings. The side-screwed profile ensures a secure fastening and allows the installation of various Planet seals without altering the door leaf. Thanks to the EV1 anodised finish, the profile remains durable, scratch-resistant and visually neutral. The mounting kit with cover plates ensures that the fixings are unobtrusively and professionally concealed.
