The ORS 142 from Hekatron is part of the smoke detector category and is also one of the leading smoke switches worldwide. It is offered with base 143A. The ORS 142 detects open fires with smoke development and smouldering fires and can activate hold-open systems for doors and gates. The smoke detector is supplied with a Loesch Tronic label.
Hekatron ORS 142 - Use and application:
The Hekatron ORS 142 continuously checks the degree of contamination and adjusts the alarm threshold accordingly with the alarm threshold tracking. The optical operation indicator shows the respective condition regarding contamination, fault and alarm. Using the smoke switch status display, all messages can be read centrally and forwarded to the building management system. It is used as both a first-fit and a replacement detector in new installations that are accepted under the type approval (Z-6.500-xxx).
