Fitting to the door is particularly simple, as no additional installation hardware is required. Tedee GO 2 is attached on the inside of the door directly onto the existing key inserted in the cylinder and fixed in place – done. A self-adhesive adapter included in the scope of delivery must be fitted if the escutcheon on the inside of the door protrudes less than three millimetres. Calibration is then carried out in a few steps via the free Tedee app (for Android and iOS).

Tedee Lock GO - compact and powerful smart door lock

With its compact format and a diameter of just 57 millimetres, the motor lock is barely larger than a door knob and thus integrates effortlessly into the overall appearance of the door. The housing is made of high-quality plastic in the elegant Tedee design. In addition, the smart door lock impresses with its power and optimised mechanics, which, thanks to a modern gearbox and a quieter motor, provide an even lower-noise operation. Together, the gearbox and the materials used ensure that the motor lock is particularly quiet during operation. Tedee GO 2 is powered by three CR123A/CR123 batteries; the battery life is on average about eight months when the lock is used up to eight times per day. 

Conventional keys become redundant with the smart door lock Tedee GO 2 and the door can be conveniently opened and closed via smartphone. The lock can be operated via Bluetooth through the Tedee app. The owner has comprehensive control over who has access to the house, when and how. Access permissions can be sent to family members, guests or service providers from anywhere at any time, choosing between permanent, time-limited or recurring digital keys. An activity log provides the necessary overview and displays all activities in chronological order. For even more convenience, the auto-unlock function via the Tedee app ensures the door opens automatically on approach. The door latch is briefly retracted and the door will relock automatically afterwards if required.
