ABUS Vitess.1000 knob cylinder - use and application:

The Vitess.1000 knob cylinder connects to the double cylinder of the series and is equally convincing with its coded profile rib and the patented Intop system, which make illegal key copying for the mechanical profile cylinder almost impossible. In addition to the high protection against copying, the drill protection also makes intrusion from the outside more difficult.

What characterises the Vitess.1000 knob cylinder is the paracentric profile with vertical key entry and the six spring-loaded locking pins. The cylinder is available in many different lengths and in both differently keyed and keyed-alike versions. Within a keyed-alike configuration it is compatible with the other cylinders of the Vitess.1000 series (double and half cylinders). It can also be ordered and used separately for a security bolt in the variant without a cylinder.

How do I order keyed-alike cylinders?

Add the desired cylinders of the Vitess.1000 series in the "keyed-alike" variant to your shopping cart. All keyed-alike cylinders of the Vitess.1000 family, as well as any additional keys added within a single shopping cart, will be manufactured keyed alike. If you require two different keyed-alike systems, please leave a comment in the designated field during the ordering process.

We offer the option to order additional keys retrospectively for keyed-alike cylinder sets that you already own. Please order the so-called "keys to sample" and follow the instructions in the product description.
