The Vitess.2000 knob cylinder, as a representative of the second tier of the ABUS Pfaffehain Vitess system, is exactly the right choice if you are looking for a cylinder that almost completely prevents unauthorised key copying. Thanks to its coded profile rib with profile probing pin, the patented Intop system and the security card, you are provided with the highest technical and legal copy protection.

The paracentric profile with vertical key entry and the six spring‑loaded locking pins with up to 4 coding pins in the second locking pin level make the Vitess.2000 knob cylinder a modern and durable profile cylinder. In the keyed‑alike variant the knob cylinder is compatible with other cylinders of the Vitess.2000 series, e.g. with half, double and round cylinders, as well as the lever lock for letterboxes. Security bolts without cylinder can also be retrofitted with the Vitess.2000.

In combination with other cylinders of the Vitess.2000 series the knob cylinder can be ordered keyed‑alike, i.e. a single key can open or close all cylinders. Of course, regardless of which keying (keyed‑alike or differently keyed) you order, 3 keys per cylinder are supplied.

How do I order keyed‑alike cylinders?

All compatible cylinders must be added to the shopping basket in the keyed‑alike variant. Please note that only the cylinders within a single order will be manufactured keyed‑alike. If you require more than 3 keys, the respective additional keys can optionally be added to the order, either in combination with a non‑keyed‑alike cylinder or with several cylinders within a keyed‑alike set.

To ensure you order the correct cylinder, you must be sure you have measured the correct length. It is important to measure from the central lock screw to the left and right including the edge of the fitting (see sketch); the cylinder may protrude slightly beyond the fitting, but not more than 3 mm, so as not to facilitate entry from the outside.
