Thumbturn cylinder WINKHAUS KeyTec RPE

A new type of copy protection in this mechanical profile cylinder ensures that only authorised persons can have keys duplicated. This is achieved by a specially shaped rib on the key which is detected in the lock cylinder by a locking ball.

The following cylinder configurations are custom-made and are excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal:

• differently keyed knob cylinders with a total length > 100 mm
• all keyed-alike cylinders
• all cylinders with security drill protection

Winkhaus KeyTec RPE - keyed-alike variant:

The thumbturn cylinder of the KeyTec RPE system is available in many different cylinder lengths in both differently keyed and keyed-alike variants. When using keyed-alike cylinders, all cylinders can be opened with the same key. Please note the following when ordering keyed-alike cylinders:

How do I order keyed-alike cylinders from the KeyTec RPE series?

Select the desired cylinders in a keyed-alike variant and add them to your shopping cart. All keyed-alike cylinders of the KeyTec RPE family, as well as any additional keys added within a single shopping cart, will be matched to each other. If you require two different systems, please place two separate orders.

How many keys will I receive?

You will receive three keys per cylinder ordered. If you need more than 3 keys per cylinder, you can add these separately as additional keys!

I already own KeyTec RPE cylinders and need additional keys?

If you need keys for cylinders you already own (regardless of where you obtained these cylinders), we can produce additional keys for you. Please order so-called sample-based keys and follow the instructions in the item description.

I already own IKON-R10 cylinders and need additional cylinders?

If you already own keyed-alike cylinders of the KeyTec RPE series and wish to add further cylinders to the system, we can have these manufactured as so-called sample-based cylinders for you. To adapt the cylinders accordingly, we require a key card. Please submit your request by e-mail (info[at]endlich-sicher.de) – you will then receive a corresponding quotation.

Winkhaus KeyTec RPE - Dimensions and installation:

The fitting thickness and the door thickness of your door determine the required cylinder length. You can read the corresponding measurement from the respective door. The dimensions A and B (see diagram) give the required cylinder length.
