The door closer "DIREKT" by Dictator closes garden gates, fence gates and other doors and gates securely — as slowly or quickly as you wish. It acts directly on the door leaf without a linkage or slide rail. It is mounted on one side to the door frame or post and on the other side directly to the door leaf.
The DIREKT door closer works similarly to a gas spring. When the door is open, i.e. the piston rod is retracted, the gas filling in the door closer pushes the piston rod back out and thus closes the door. This closing action is damped by hydraulic oil in the cylinder. Using nitrogen gas instead of a conventional spring allows significantly higher closing forces. This ensures that the door is reliably closed despite the small diameter of the DIREKT door closer.

Dictator DIREKT door closer - closing force
- For lightweight doors that can be pushed closed into the latch without force, or which have no latch, a closing force of 400 N is sufficient
- If increased force is required, a DIREKT with 600 N should be chosen
- With the help of an integrated valve, the closing force can be reduced on site if necessary by releasing gas
