Due to the straightforward installation, which is considerably simplified by the enclosed installation instructions and the possible subsequent adjustments, the DORMA TS 92 B has become our best-selling Dorma door closer for commercial and private use.
The closing force, closing speed and latching action of the DORMA door closer TS 92 B can be adjusted in a few simple steps. The compact design ensures a timeless appearance. Not to forget, the TS 92 B offers barrier-free access, which makes passage easier.
DORMA TS 92 B door closer – Applications
- Indoor use
- for standard doors up to 1100 mm door width
- also suitable for fire and smoke protection doors
- suitable for DIN-R and DIN-L
- top mounting possible (example in the illustration on the right)
The closing force can be freely adjusted between EN 1 and EN 4 and is sufficient for doors up to 1100 mm door width.
The closing speed and also the opening damping (BC/ÖD) can be adjusted via a valve.
Installation of the DORMA TS 92 B
The DORMA TS 92 B is mounted on the hinge side. Using the enclosed drilling template, the door frame is simply pre-drilled and then the closer body is screwed on.
In the next step the standard arm is attached to the door closer and then to the door leaf. A ladder is recommended for mounting above the door.

For use in environments with increased wind speeds, a stronger door closer is recommended (greater door thickness or smaller door width).

1) B = configuration: door leaf mounting on the hinge side/ header mounting on the opposite hinge side.
2) G = configuration: door leaf mounting on the opposite hinge side/ header mounting on the hinge side.
3) For external mounting in windy environments, a more powerful door closer should be used.
